First Aid Training
All work places are required under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 to have adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees who are injured or become ill at work.
The minimum first aid requirement for any work place is:
- A suitably stocked first aid box.
- An Appointed Person to take charge of the first aid arrangements.
- All employers should carry out a risk assessment to identify the first aid provision required for their premises. More information can be found in How Many First Aiders
Swan First Aid Services is a Health and Safety Executive Licensed Training Centre and our courses comply with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Approved Code of Practice L74 guidelines for the qualification of workplace First Aiders.
